Flash Cricket Video Games

Postby farhan » Thu Jun 19, 2008 7:05 am

I am sharing with you Stick Cricket video game. This is a really comprehensive cricket game. Player plays the chosen batting side with all the batsmen as right handed (the only flaw in the game). The best thing about the game is it is associated with Cricinfo and all the current Bangladeshi players are included. The controls consist of only 4 buttons and once mastered this game is a lot of fun.

Who will share next game........waiting......

Bin Laden eyed US rails from his secret compound

Postby birmimpeply » Sun May 08, 2011 8:52 am

Holed up in a compound in Pakistan, Osama bin Laden was scheming how to hit the United States hard again, according to newly uncovered documents that show al-Qaida plans for derailing an American train on the upcoming 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
Details of the plan emerged Thursday as some of the first intelligence was gleaned from the trove of information found in bin Laden's residence when Navy SEALs killed the al-Qaida leader and four of his associates. They took his body and scooped up computers, DVDs and documents from the compound where U.S. officials think he had been living for as long as six years.

John Kerry warns Pakistan over Bin Laden

Postby Blexenddelp » Wed May 18, 2011 6:23 pm

A visiting senior United States senator warned Pakistanis on Monday that members of Congress were asking "tough questions" about economic aid to Islamabad after Osama bin Laden was killed on Pakistani soil.
Senator John Kerry told a news conference he had not come to Islamabad to apologize for the May 2 secret U.S. raid that killed Osama bin Laden and infuriated the Pakistani military.
But the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, a Democrat close to President Barack Obama, said U.S.-Pakistani ties were too important to be unraveled by the incident.
In a veiled warning to the Pakistani security establishment, made up of the powerful military and the Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate, he said: "The road ahead will not be defined by words. It will be defined by actions."
"I emphasized to our Pakistani friends -- and they are friends -- that many in Congress are raising tough questions about our ongoing economic assistance to the government of Pakistan because of the events as they unfolded, and because of the presence of Osama bin Laden in Pakistan," he said.
Washington's fragile ties with ally Islamabad took a beating after U.S. special forces flew in from Afghanistan on a secret operation and killed bin Laden on May 2, nearly 10 years after he orchestrated the September 11 attacks on the United States.

Comedy and fairy tales upcoming in television

Postby Gekkeltybeelp » Tue May 24, 2011 3:33 pm

Jimmy Kimmel's lacerating dissection of the industry has become an annual highlight of the week when television's biggest networks reveal programming plans to advertisers. This year he nailed the pie-eyed suspension of disbelief that characterizes each sales job.
"Remember those shows we were so excited about last fall?" Kimmel said at the ABC session. "We canceled all of them. And yet here you are again. I think you might have a gambling problem."
Big laughs, perhaps from the hint of recognition.
Of the 18 new series that debuted last fall on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, six survived to make this coming September's schedule — a batting average of .250. Take away the relatively stable CBS, and it's three out of 13. That doesn't even count shows that appeared in midseason and are already history, such as "The Paul Reiser Show" and Matthew Perry's "Mr. Sunshine."

When the age of the modern tablet was ushered in just over a year ago with the introduction of Apple's iPad, tablets were called a "third class" of personal gadget to complement the laptop computer and the smartphone. The implication was that a tablet will be just as essential as those other devices have become — but is that really the case? Do tablets do anything you can't already do if you already have a laptop or a smartphone? Let's go over the facts to find the answer.
A unique angle?
Does a tablet do anything a laptop or smartphone can't do? There are plenty of things laptops do that smartphones can't, such as word processing, software and web development, tasks that require a ton of multitasking, and anything that demands a lot of processing power, a physical keyboard, or a large screen. Likewise, smartphones offer functionality your laptop will never offer — GPS directions when walking the streets of New York, entertainment on the train, and the ability to receive emails at a bar with no wifi.
Tablets are another story. There's not much basic functionality they can offer that's not offered by either smartphones or laptops. Tablets can give you GPS maps on the go, a full-featured web browser that's comfortable to use, and if you're accustomed to touchscreens, they can even handle word processing or photo editing.
If the $500-$1,000 cost of a tablet is only justified to you by new abilities and functionalities, you probably won't want to buy one. Other than a very strong battery life and the ability to surf the web on a large screen from anywhere — both of which are absent from most but not all laptops — there's nothing new here.
The performance advantage ....
