Attempt a vintage shop, here in Portland, Or there utilized to be a location named the Large Bang, they had all kinds of old leathers, some even punk. They purchased off old schoolers. I sold my first 1 there along with a guy who I later dated turned out to be the one that bought it. But vintage does not usually mean OLD, it can mean classic lookin too. Fantastic luck! oh and no matter what, langlets brand is crap and more than priced. i got my kids first leather at a goodwill store for like 8 bucks. She is constantly adding stuff to it.
May well make fantastic sense till one adds the further protection of a number of applications of linseed oil, beeswax and Filson's own canned wax more than quite a few years. When it was stolen after approx. 14 years of ownership it would nonetheless stand up on its own, not for the reason that it wasn't broken in but because of the amount of wax and oil in and on the moncler jackets. That old Tin Cruiser kept me pretty dry over the years or perhaps I wasn't exposed to a real rain storm.
If either Patagonia or Arcteryx produced moncler jacketss for hunting, I'd be making use of them and wouldn't be worried within the least in their durability. But they do not, so it's un-oiled Tin Cloth for Upland with Filson Camo(not produced anymore) and Orvis Gore Tex Camo parka and lengthy parka for waterfowl and ll Bean techy Blaze Orange set for deer hunting.
